The Rolling Stones Live at Kansas City [6-6-1975] – Full Show
Hello again friends, I’m back with some ’75!
Perhaps you’ll know that I’ve always said that ’75 sucked yada yada; But I’m allowed to change my opinion
The argument I always use is that Jagger’s voice is rough; That’s true, it’s getting rispy and sloppy; But this show at Kansas City proves some improvement at his voice and he’s delivering great redemptions of Star Star, You Can’t Always Get What You Want, Tumbling Dice and Angie, sounding much better than my previously uploaded ’75 concert, L.A. Forum (Special mention to It’s Only Rock and Roll, one of my favourite live versions without the backing singers)
This show does not feature Happy, sung by Keith, instead he sings ‘Sure the One You Need’, written by Jagger/Richards and performed by himself on Ron Wood’s solo album (I’ve Got My Own Album To Do, ’74), sounding much better than L.A. (In L.A. he looked and sounded deeply intro drugs)
Enjoy!
